Default Split

I'm split between Network Solutions for the lamest customer service in the history of mankind and NetNames (UK) for the most despicable record of stealing their own customers' domains!

Sounds like you have had bad experiences with both.

Angry Godaddy is the worst

The domain registrar Godaddy.com is making illegal profit by forcing customers to renew expiring domains at Godaddy.com, instead of allowing them to be transferred to another registrar.

I transferred two domain names from Godaddy.com to another registrar, because Godaddy does not respond to emails sent to their support department, and I am not pleased with Godaddy.com services. Godaddy's service is absolutely not that as it is advertised as.

Godaddy denied the transfer of these domain names, and forced me to renew the domains at Godaddy.com. They said the domains will be able to be transferred a later date. But at this later date they would have been expired. So, I was forced to renew the domains at Godaddy.com registrar.
It is not the amount of a few dollars that made me angry, but the ugly behaviour of Godaddy.com, ripping a least $9.20 from me.

Default OMNIS.COM is the worst

I'd have to say Omnis.com is the worst. Aside from their servers being REALLY SLOW, their customer service and tech support are unreachable. After a few tries on the telephone I actually got through to tech support and the guy was a jerk. Short answers and a really annoyed attitude.

Their automated system keeps telling me that my account is going to be deleted due to nonpayment - yet my payment automatically and religiously comes out of my account every month. When I email them about it I get no response. I'm on 8 emails right now for this month's message. Each time I get a ticket number but no actual response. I'm counting to see how many emails it takes to get a response.

I pay extra for email accounts. During the day it's so slow that it's unusable.

Additionally, I've gone through the whole 'Omnis losing my domain name' thing. Fortunately it wasn't a name I really cared about.

Omnis is cheap and good for a stupid 'play site' for which you will never need tech support. I definitely would NOT use Omnis for anything real.
